Why You Should Elevate Your Dishwasher
There are two major reasons you should elevate your dishwasher.
First, it is simple to load and unload your dishes. You are not bending way down for a cast iron dish, oddly shaped platter or tray.
如果you have a bad back, elevating yourdishwasherwill be a good idea to consider.
Second, it is simple to plumb. You can run lines under the cabinet below.

Why You Shouldn't Elevate Your Dishwasher
You shouldn't elevate in a smaller kitchen with few cabinets. Although this requires a smaller 24-inch cabinet, sometimes that is not feasible.
One Small Note of Caution:
In stainless, it is straightforward. If you are panelizing, the panel must be installed to move with the dishwasher to prevent it from scratching or catching the cabinet below.
One Larger Note of Caution:
Make sure it's installed correctly. Water leaks are almost as bad as fire for your home.
Pro Tip:After installing any appliance withwaterlike a refrigerator, washer or dishwasher, place a piece of contact paper underneath.
Check the paper for any moisture within 24 hours of being installed.
So, Should You Elevate Your Dishwasher?
Yes, you should, but only if you have the room and space.
