About Me
With over 15 years of experience, Steve has distinguished himself as an expert in health and human performance. His ever-evolving training philosophy is based not only on real-world experience but, more importantly, on cutting-edge scientific research. He has counseled hundreds of individuals, athlete and non-athlete alike, from a variety of backgrounds and with skill levels ranging from weekend warrior to world champion.
A graduate of Central Catholic High School, Steve earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University where he also served as a graduate assistant in the Human Performance Laboratory. In addition, he holds numerous advanced certifications and continues his ongoing research in:
- injury prevention/rehabilitation
- exercise physiology
- strength training
- biomechanics
- biochemistry
- nutrition
